Recently, we were invited to contribute to a unique public infrastructure project in our home city — the Wuxi Metro System.

🏗️ The Project: Steel Safety Fencing for a High-Voltage Metro Zone

As part of an infrastructure upgrade, Wuxi Metro required a custom-engineered protective fence to safely separate a high-voltage station from pedestrian walkways inside the metro compound. This was a critical safety component.

Unlike typical warehouse applications, this task demanded:

Heavy-duty steel with anti-corrosion treatment
Precise fabrication based on technical site drawings
Safety compliance for electrical proximity
On-site coordination, delivery, and installation

⚙️ Our Role: Full-Cycle Fabrication and Installation

SavyRack was tasked not only with designing and manufacturing the safety fence, but also ensuring it was correctly installed — with on-site technical support and supervision.

Here’s how we delivered:

Utilized powder-coated Q235 steel, known for its weather resistance and long-term durability
Manufactured custom panel sections, brackets, and anchoring systems
Sent a dedicated installation team to the metro site to carry out full assembly
Coordinated with metro engineers to ensure proper alignment, positioning, and clearance zones
Completed all work safely and efficiently, minimizing downtime for the station
